Jen, a graduate of Grand Valley State University, has a diverse background in marketing ranging from professional services to consumer package goods. She is currently the marketing manager for Sysco, the global leader in selling, marketing and distributing food products. In her position with Sysco she spends a lot of her time on go-to-market and promotion strategies and managing to overall marketing calendar to promote growth. Jen lives by the statement, “teamwork makes the dreamwork” and brings that to her professional career and to the AMA West Michigan board. When not working, Jen enjoys traveling, golfing, spending time with friends and family and as a self-proclaimed foodie, loves hitting the newest places in town and spending time in the kitchen making her own masterpieces.

Laurie brings diverse perspectives in Account, Marketing and Operations Management from past experience working with leading West Michigan advertising, marketing, digital and design firms. Her previous work has focused on key account management, new business development, marketing strategy and tactical project planning and execution. She has led agency design and development teams for clients such as Amway, Dow Chemical, Eli Lilly and Company, Healthcare Bluebook, Priority Health, Proctor and Gamble and Steelcase. She joined Priority Health in 2015 as a Marketing Consultant working with the Priority Health brand and special initiatives marketing team.
Driven by all things marketing, Nicole has had the opportunity to work for companies large and small. Currently, she works at AUXILIARY, Advertising and Design, leading branding and communications initiatives for her clients. Nicole has been involved in the AMA West Michigan for several years, serving as Communications Chair and most recently the Board President. In her spare time, you can find Nicole running around Grand Rapids (literally), either in a race or training. She also loves spending time with friends and family and exploring all that Michigan has to offer.
Kayden is the digital strategist for Cull Group Marketing & Design, and a Grand Valley State University graduate. Fluent in both left- and right-brained activities, Kayden brings a well-rounded perspective to any marketing strategy. His passion for continuous improvement and forward progress keeps him searching for new ideas and experiences. Outside of marketing, Kayden enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and Michigan’s craft beer scene.
Sarah graduated from Calvin College in 2015 with a degree in Organizational Communication. Born and raised on the beaches of Grand Haven, she made the permanent move to Beer City, U.S.A. after college. Grand Rapids becomes a little more like home with every trip to Donkey Taqueria, Founders & her personal favorite, Harmony Brewing Company. Her hobbies, conveniently, include tacos, beer & pizza. In addition, she is an averagely-paced runner, stellar roller blader, avid reader and Parks & Recreation watcher. After her recent graduation from the Center for Community Leadership’s Emerging Leaders Series, Sarah is more excited and inspired by Grand Rapids every day, and not just for the food.
Jake is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he received his B.S. in Advertising and Public Relations. Currently, Jake is a Marketing Consultant at Priority Health. This is his third year on the AMA West Michigan board, where he serves as VP of Sponsorship. While away from the office and AMA biz, you can find him on the golf course, at Founders Brewing Co., or at the dog park with his trusty hounds, Bruce and Reuben.
Ed helps marketers with data management, prospecting, lead nurturing, print collateral, and direct mail services. A Michigan State University graduate in Advertising Research, Ed has spent his career helping marketers deliver their messages through printed and digital mediums, using targeted data driven campaigns. He eagerly encourages your participation in the AMA West Michigan community and looks to help you expand social and learning experiences with likeminded marketing pros.
Danielle Morabito currently holds the position of a marketing project manager at Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the nation’s largest public accounting firms. There, she helps drives strategies and tactics for the business verticals, in addition to overseeing the conference and tradeshow arena. In her free time, she volunteers with Junior Achievement of West Michigan and runs a lifestyle blog, Modish Mitten. When she isn’t nose deep into the world of accounting, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also loves to stay active by snowboarding and enjoying her long time passion of figure skating.
In January, 2009 Sue re-joined the staff at Heintzelman Accounting Services. She has been servicing clients in public accounting for 27 years across a broad industry spectrum. Sue specializes in assisting clients in setting up, training staff and maintaining their accounting systems with a focus on developing efficiencies of processes. She delivers timely and useful financial reports, does payroll processing on various platforms, and prepares payroll tax returns. Sue is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor for the Online, Mac and PC versions of QB, qualifying her to provide excellent support and training for the majority of the Intuit product line.
Jason Dodge is founder of BlackTruck Media + Marketing, a Michigan-based search-marketing agency focused on improving clients’ online presence through honest search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (PPC) strategies driven by actionable data analytics. Jason has more than 15 years of online marketing experience and was named one of Grand Rapids Business Journal’s 40-Under-Forty business leaders. He serves on the leadership council for the Small Business Association of Michigan and is an active advisor to the executive board of AMA West Michigan.
