As Internet Marketing Manager for The Stow Company, Mike is responsible for the planning, execution, and measurement of all digital marketing initiatives for the company and its house of brands. From search, social, and display campaigns to web development, conversion rate optimization, and marketing automation, Mike has an active hand in all stages of the customer journey.
Rooted in a mix of content marketing and on and off-site SEO strategies, The Stow Company’s online growth has been fueled in large by search marketing, acquiring more than a million organic search visits per year. During his tenure with Stow, Mike has attended over 25 digital marketing conferences, has spoken at industry events, and has sat on panels with other search professionals discussing SEO, attribution, and analytics.
Outside of the office, Mike is an avid hockey player and golfer and can be found spending time around West Michigan with his wife and two children. Mike is a Traverse City native and graduate of Calvin College, where he currently serves as a Governing Board Member for the Calvin Center for Innovation in Business.
With over 10 years experience in the SEO/SEM world, Mike has spent 7 years on the agency side of work, serving clients in the tourism space such as hotels and B&B’s, to consumer goods within the health and beauty segment, education and medical clients. Currently Mike oversees SEO and Social Media strategies for the Michigan-based Summit Sports. Inclusive of both brick and mortar locations, Summit Sports also maintains 6 large e-commerce websites. Skis.com, Snowboards.com, InlineSkates.com, SummitOnline.com, WaterOutfitters.com and CampGear.com. Our focus with all of our online outlets is to provide customers with the same, or better, experience that they would receive in a retail store visit. Through his role at Summit Sports, Mike guides the team through content marketing, link building, social media and continuous optimization efforts.
Jason Dodge is founder of BlackTruck Media + Marketing, a Grand Rapids, MI based inbound marketing consultancy focused on improving clients’ online presence through honest Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid-Search (PPC), and Content Marketing Strategies that are driven by actionable data analytics.

Sarah Mackenzie is the Director of SEO at FINE, a digital agency with offices in San Francisco, Portland, and Traverse City. With over 10 years of industry experience, she has most recently worked with FINE clients that include St. Michelle Wine Estates, Kimpton Hotels, Anchor Brewing, and more. Her disciplined approach to SEO centers around strategic tactics for the long-term, working to remove smoke and mirrors while demonstrating the value of an ethical, innovative approach to this dynamic field.
